I also checked the bias on the output devices which seemed to be a bit hot at about 0. After it dried out I replaced the cover, glued back on the magnet that had fallen off and soldered the relay back onto the board to test.
Luckily the cleaning seemed to have done it, and both channels were now strong and reliable with no change from pressing on the it and flexing the board.
I’m just using a pair of JBL surrounds to test right now, but was happy to find there was no hum or hiss at all with both channels set for max output.
